You will notice some red filtering on some screenshots. I have uploaded a small number of screenshots to my profile. The PC port is probably the best version to play simply due to being natively uncensored and obviously not locked at 480p. The PC version DOES have the original intended plier animations that the Wii would have had if history had been different.

To make up for it, it does have many extra graphical flourishes such as your character becoming increasingly bloodstained and enemies receiving facial damage from strikes that the PS2 version lacked. Like the Wii version, it is missing a small animation and some weapons from the PS2 Beta, it appears that was a decision initially made by the Wii team before the bans came anyway. I played the PS2 Beta back in 2007, the Wii version as released in 2008 with censorship, and the Wii version a few times again with homebrew to remove the filters to largely uncensor the game (pliers aside as they had removed animations which could not be restored).īeing a Rockstar game from 2007, it plays and looks like a 2001 game, so by modern standards it has aged terribly.
It is clearly a port of what was the intended Wii version before the bans. Nonetheless, I can confirm I finished it last night and it is definitely the real game. In short, I can't guarentee that buying it from this website isn't a gamble. But it all seemed ok once I got started and I have fully scanned my system since. The actual download seemed a bit suspect and upset my Anti-Virus. I probably can't give the name on here, but the second word of the name is a mythical firebreathing lizard creature. Type Manhunt 2 PC into an internet search, probably the first result is a legal non-amazon place you can buy it if you are outside USA.
